Issue #397 - Spring/Summer 2026
This issue is an ode to the Colombian city of Cartagena De Indias — an issue devoted to a Caribbean wonder listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site.
Inspired by Gabriel García Márquez, it features his memories of the city alongside reflections from his son Rodrigo, plus interviews and contributions from Oscar Murillo, Victor Pouchet, Yohir Akerman and others. Stories explore Cartagena’s legends, identity, history and cultural heritage, including the Palace of the Inquisition, Afrobeat and boxer Kid Pambelé. Photographers Milena Villalón, Matheus Agudelo, Hart Lëshkina and others capture the city’s past and present, while international artists add their own distinctive perspectives.
